Who We Are
CBRP Logo
The Chesapeake Bay Recovery Partnership (CBRP) is a newly formed public-private partnership between the Oyster Recovery Partnership and the State of Maryland (Department of Natural Resources).

The partnership was created to raise funds from public and private sources and to implement large-scale, integrated Chesapeake Bay restoration projects that will include oyster restoration, bay grass replenishment, planting of forest buffers and cover crops, and nutrient and sediment reduction.

The partnership has created an Advisory Board and a Scientific/Technical Advisory Committee that will review, advise and make recommendations to the Board on proposed projects and recommend additional projects for consideration.
